ShipHazmat
® Standard Edition is an internationally accepted, user-friendly
software application for the automation of the International Air Transport Association (IATA)
Shipper's Declaration form and package preparation of dangerous goods shipments by air.
ShipHazmat® helps assure compliance with IATA and ICAO regulations
for the air transportation of dangerous goods.
Whether you are created single-entry shipments, all-packed-in-ones, and/or overpacks,
ShipHazmat
® will make sure that your documentation is correctly
filled in.
ShipHazmat
® is available in various editions to suit different
organization requirements. Whether you require software for a single user or across a network,
or only require certain class hazards, we have a solution for you.
The Standard Edition features all class hazards (excluding Class 7: Radioactive materials) for a single
user license.
Efficiency
Create completed, fully compliant shipper's declaration forms in under one minute, eliminating
the need for typewriters and word processing applications. Avoid typographical errors, conserving
production time and reducing/eliminating costly regulatory fines.
Integrated logic
Built-in business logic does the "compliance thinking" for you. Selecting the desired UN or ID
number will prompt available packing instructions, quantity limitations and packaging types
based on regulatory guidelines.
Note: United States government variations are automatically incorporated into the programming
logic and can be disabled for shipments not traveling in, out or through the United States.
Database manager
Manage shipper and consignee information with the built-in database manager by storing contacts
for repetitive use on future shipments. Improve speed and efficiency in document preparation
with simple point-and-click technology.
Q-value calculation
ShipHazmat correctly calculates the Q-value, when necessary, of all applicable UN numbers inside
of an "all-packed-in-one" package automatically.

The value "Q" cannot exceed a value of 1 in this formula, where n1, n2, etc. are the net quantities
per package of each dangerous goods and M1, M2, etc. are the maximum net quantities allowed per
package for each dangerous goods.
Segregation and compatibility
Business logic automatically tracks all-packed-in-one packages and overpacks to prevent users from
adding incompatible items into a package based on regulatory guidelines.
Markings and labeling
Print out optional documentation describing the proper labeling and marking requirements for each
shipment created. This includes all applicable class hazard and handling labels, UN specification
markings, net quantities and more.
Operator and state variations
Applicable operator and state variations for each UN number added to a shipper's declaration form
are available for users to review.
Emergency response
Print emergency response information based on the Emergency Response Guidebook on request based on
the items within your shipment.
Bar code scanning
Generate bar codes for each shipment to automate integration of dangerous goods declaration with
flight NOTOCs.
Red borders
Select options to print with or without the red borders on a shipper's declaration form, depending
if you have pre-printed red-bordered paper or plain white paper.
